“It Takes many bags of Salt to make a friend…”
I don’t know why I chose this image to go with this post, but I guess we will see when I get to the bottom. It has been a challenging day, to say the least. Thanks to the Government they screwed up my financial aide file for the next year and they denied my claim for financial aide. I found this out in the middle of last night, and had to go to bed wondering about how to fix this issue, without loosing my head. Needless to say I did not get to sleep very easily.
I got up this morning, and got myself prepared to go to the office at school and ask them to fix the file, which took all of ten minutes. Now I am waiting for the government to get back to me on whether or not they are going to pay me financial aide for the next academic school year. I even entertained the thought of dropping out of school because if I don’t get financial aide I won’t be able to continue my studies…
Mantra: I am powerless over people, places and things…
I went to class and we had some lively discussion about virginity and abstinence. The class is very estrogen stacked so there was a lot to be said by many of the girls in class today. It was a good class, I have completed all of my thought pieces for this set of readings so I am way ahead in the reading department.
I went to my meeting as usual, I had pondered not going because I was tired, but habit ruled that out. Today’s topic was Change and Balance… The only constant that is true is change, and if you don’t have balance then your entire life will be out of whack. Everything in moderation and one must find the fine line where balance exists between all the forces that exert power over us on any given day.
I must have balance, even when I cannot find it, it is there. I just have to have the wisdom to know where that balance is.
